Hunter grew up in Front Royal, Virginia and graduated from Powhatan School (Boyce, VA) and Notre Dame Academy (Middleburg, VA). She moved to New York City to attend NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Atlantic Theatre Company School (founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy) as well as the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. While in New York, Hunter also studied with Peter Miner at T. Schreiber Studios. Hunter has appeared in television, films, web series, and commercials in and has branched into print modeling projects as well. She has a specific interest in new media projects, and has also worked as a producer and writer through her company Dragon Hunter Productions.
